foodcouture goes to bali (part 1)

Having a short trip to Bali was really like going to heaven in a blink of eye. Yes, it was short, very short period. The intention of going there was not to enjoy playing the water sports nor swimming, but to try new places that are not available in jakarta.

I was really surprised (or amazed is the right word, perhaps?) with the enlarging numbers of many new hype places in Bali, let's name some such as Rock Bar, Karma Kandara, El Kabron, etc. Those places are really very beautiful and yet the beaches are very clean and you really feel like in paradise.

For our first stop, it is Nasi Pedes Ibu Andika. For any spicy-food lovers, this a must stop-by place to go!!! Don't ask me about the spicy level, it can drive u mad haha

PLEASE NOTE that: yes, I was still very fair at that moment, yet the next few hours I was burned as the weather was really pretty hot. My choice of bringing my yellow cambridge satchel was really a good decision, to bright up my outfit-of-the day for that looks. :)


Next stop: Karma Kandara --> sophisticated, glamorous and exotic place that should be put on the A-list. The beach is really unordinary! Clean, with blue-greenish water surface and you can see it from the restaurant.

ICE CREAM. it has become one of my favorite "guilty pleasure" moments to eat ice cream when it is scorching hot. YES! Summer is here ! yay ~ it means that all of my friends are coming back for vacations. I have been receiving lots of souvenirs from one of my friends, as she brought me home lots and lots of butter fingers. (I will upload the photo).
Due to the "support" from the hot weather, I have been eating ice-cream quite frequently. haha, I definitely need a 50-times sit up after eating them.
I am so glad that my fellows are coming back one by one, it's been forever that i haven't seen them in a whileeeeee.....

Seriously, nobody can beat my love for this butter finger! Everyone seems to love desserts and cakes and ice creams, I do too. However, when it comes to the best snack, butterfinger is one of my top lists! Thank you to my friend who has brought this home far away from USA, love you :*

This summer is different that any summer before, because so many things have taught me and I always learn something new. The lessons that I receive really change me a lot to become more responsible and matured in taking any decisions. I am somehow happy with my life now and I hope it will last longer.

TOKYO Night Out !

Hello, it's June, it's summer, and it's coming into holiday seasons. (I STILL HAVE FINALS 2 weeks later). Been occupied with many assignments, chores, and ended up on bed for the weekends, I have been very very very sick for the past one week :(

Traffics, hot weather in Indonesia, have become a 'chaos' for my physical conditions, definitely needs a getaway SOON! hehehe. Today's post would be about one fine day that I have spent in Tokyo. WHAT? Tokyo? Yes, to be exact TOKIO STATION.

Well, to be honest, I was not exactly in Japan, but in a place called TOKIO STATION.
It is located in Central Park and the place is like a Japanese foodcourt with many types of Japanese food  and snacks.

Rate: 7/10 (for all the food I tried)

new statement bag

alright, this time is going to be a bag post! well, i am myself, a true lover of many designer bags, those include, chanel, balenciaga, LV, prada, etc. However, it is hard for me to have the right bag that I can use for daily or campus. FINALLY! i have finally found the one (hmm, it sounds like the title of one romantic song). the new statement bag is THE CAMBRIDGE SATCHEL. yes, I ordered it from my friend and it's been almost a month. really couldn't wait for it.

so, this is so called the BATCHEL type in yellow. I am not a fan of yellow, but I found out that this color could help me to mix and match, and also do some color blocking. Definitely a must have color for all seasons. this one is 15" in size, i am afraid that the bag is gonna be too big, but i have lots of stuff to put in, so i guess this is pretty reasonable to be carried around.

found this picture from miss Carolina Engman, from fashion squad, and actually the fluo color looks pretty good on her, i don't know why. haha. but it seems that the color is "born" to be hers. love ur style lady ;)

However, it seems there are some delays in the shipping process. it takes quite a long time, a month or more to arrive here :( I can't wait for it to come T_T

Cambridge Satchel comes in very handy and stylish. it has so many colors that fascinates me, like the green one. Gosh, I was very confused of choosing whether it is gonna be a green or yellow.

and my choice fell on the yellow one ... but this green really impresses me T_T and it's really a hard thing to choose. the bag itself is very English, just like the kind of school bag that English girls use in many English movies, and that's make more interested of buying it ;)
The bag has many types, such as Classic, Designer Bag, Batchel, Music Bag, etc and the colors do vary too! They have so many good attractive colors that will give u hard decision to pick one
*sigh*

however if you don't like any bright color, this is a nice Designer Bag Batchel type that comes in 15"
love the combination of black and chocolate, and will suit in any casual clothes.

well this is my current interest so far for an affordable bag and yet, i hope that mine is going to arrive soon!
